While in the Air Force, I started CrossFit with a group of friends who were looking for exercise programming that would compliment all sports. We found that the workouts were fast yet effective. After lifting weights conventionally for 7 years, I was a good athlete; but after just one short month, my friends and I began to realize what it meant to be in the best shape of our lives. Every year I am still able to say I am in the best shape of my life– it just keeps working without ever hitting a plateau. A few years ago, I decided to broaden my sports ability and become a triathlete. I have now accomplished triathlons ranging from sprints to half iron-mans, each with a better time than the last–which I credit entirely to my CrossFit programming.
My love for CrossFit has grown so that I am excited to share it with others around me. I started personal training at a local gym where I stayed for 2 years before my wife and I decided to start a gym that was focused solely on CrossFit personal training. Our rules are easy-going and our community of CrossFitters is close; not something you can say about the typical gym. We love new comers and are always excited to celebrate our fitness victories and push each other ever harder, together.
