If you had one hour of free time, what would you do?: Relax and get some rest.
While I knew that I needed to improve my fitness, I always lacked the willpower to start regularly exercising, or to continue for longer than a week or two. I started a membership at a large gym, but it felt very impersonal and that it wasn’t a good fit for me. I would go to bring-a-friend classes at Crossfit Credence, with my wife, Tracy, who coached bootcamp and did CrossFit. The 12 days of Crossfit workout stuck with me, as I can still remember Coach Allie ensuring I had proper form for the movements, as well the workout being “fun”. In April, I finally started Beginner’s class, and since then, I look forward to the variety of workouts Crossfit Credence has to offer.
Now, our whole family attends classes at CFC. The friendly and supportive staff has helped my wife and me develop a love for fitness and is teaching our children that exercise is fun, exciting, and a way to challenge yourself so that you can continuously see improvements that result from hard work. These are excellent lessons that hopefully build good habits as they grow older.
